This fused glass wall panel was inspired by the 1967 Supreme Court Case that struck down state laws banning interracial marriage. The only place in the piece where the black and white pieces of glass meet end to end is where the two pieces are surrounded by red pieces of glass, representing the plaintiff’s love for each other.
